Choose your starting point

Built for both new and experienced installers.

Your current experience determines the right course, not the size of your shop. Both paths combine product knowledge, installation practice, quality standards, and customer-facing guidance.

New to PPF Start with the fundamentals.

For technicians with limited or no installation experience who need a safe, structured introduction to tools, prep, film handling, and core panel techniques.

Installation experience Refine technique and consistency.

For active installers who want to solve difficult areas, improve efficiency, work across more ASHIELD product types, and validate advanced skills.

Training levels

Two courses. Two distinct credentials.

Each class is intentionally small. Most time is spent learning on vehicle panels, with enough product and customer guidance to help the whole shop represent ASHIELD clearly.

More than installation technique

Give the entire shop more confidence.

The strongest training outcome is not just a cleaner install. It is a team that understands the film, explains it well, and delivers a consistent customer experience.

Product Know what makes each film different

Understand Clear PPF tiers, Color PPF finishes, Glass & Light PPF applications, care requirements, and the tradeoffs that matter to vehicle owners.

Technique Build repeatable installation habits

Practice prep, handling, tension, tack, edges, heat, trimming, and inspection standards that reduce avoidable rework and improve delivery quality.

Presentation Recommend with greater credibility

Use the credential, product knowledge, samples, and care guidance to explain choices clearly without turning the conversation into a technical lecture.

Certification framework
A credential should mean something.

Training attendance and certification are connected, but not identical. ASHIELD credentials reflect the level of knowledge and practical work demonstrated during assessment.

Foundation Installer

Confirms that the technician understands ASHIELD product basics, safe preparation, core installation habits, care guidance, and foundational quality checks.

Advanced Certified Installer

Recognizes an experienced technician who demonstrates stronger control on difficult surfaces, consistent finishing, troubleshooting, and complete job delivery.

Before you subscribe

Common training questions.

Final details will vary by class and location. Each announcement will confirm everything needed before registration.

Which course is right for a new installer?

Choose PPF Foundation Training. It assumes no prior installation experience and builds the working habits needed before moving into more difficult panels and materials.

How do experienced installers enter the advanced course?

Applicants will be asked about current experience and may be asked for recent installation photos or a short portfolio so the small class can begin at the right level.

Is a certificate automatic after attendance?

No. Attendance is required, but the corresponding credential is issued after the course knowledge and practical assessment requirements are met.

When will dates and trainers be announced?

ASHIELD will publish each confirmed session on this page and email subscribers with the date, location, instructor profile, tuition, and registration link.
